Badian
A long, quiet public white-sand beach a few minutes from Kawasan
Lambug is the beach most canyoneering trips drive past without stopping: a wide crescent of pale sand on the Badian coast, backed by palms, with very little built on it.
The water is shallow a long way out and the seabed is sand rather than coral, which makes it one of the better swimming beaches in the south. There are no resorts of any size, no vendors to speak of and no entrance gate — the trade-off is that there are no facilities either.
On the coast at Badian, about ten minutes by tricycle from the highway junction at Matutinao and roughly three hours by bus from Cebu City.
