Talisay City is located in cebu province and part of Metro Cebu in the north, by the south of Minglanilla, by the west of Toledo City and east of Bohol Strait. The history of Talisay city comes from the origin of its name, Magtalisay which means a trees that aboundant in the areas and also called as the town in Spain. This place is known as the center of guerilla intelligence operations for the Philippine residence movement in World War 2, which held in Cebu.
